The sheep have learned to flinch whenever a politician clears their throat and reaches for scripture. Not because faith is dangerous, but because power has learned how to wear it like a costume. The verses come out polished and selective, trimmed down to slogans that fit neatly on podiums while the inconvenient parts are left to rot in the margins.
